 hifunny stuff - good beats to make new songs - fine quality samples but I was looking for some brush sounds to make a backing for my acoustic guitar

 This is a very good product. I had programmed my first drum sequence within 15 mins of starting. Very intuitive to use, love the way it works as a standalone as well as a plugin for Logic (and others). When activated make sure you download all the factory content and extra kits (from your account page). This adds hundreds of additional kits and samples (the basic programme does not have these pre-installed). I also purchased one of the iPhone apps to enable me to wirelessly send new patterns to my phone which is very useful. I would like to see an ...
This is a great product which I have found to be immediately easy to use, but then was able to drill down, by learning more about it\'s interface, into a much more varied and flexible piece of software than I initially thought.

 Right after I downloaded it, it said the demo had expired so I never got a chance to try it.
Just getting started with iDrum, but it seems fairly intuitive - that is if you are used to using drum machines. As I go back to the very first Lin Drum it's not so hard!
It doesn't let me use the trial version. Tells me it's expired.

Too much of a latency problem. I tried a bunch of different settings with still a slight delay. I have Guitar Rig 3, Flying Hagis and a couple of other gtr programs witout any latency problem. I have a Soundblaster Elite pro sound card, Win XP, and Quad core processor.Larry Z
First thoughts First of all I installed on Vista 64-bit only to be disappointed. That's understandable though, as I realise that 3rd party driver support for Vista 64 is not exactly forthcoming. Therefore I installed on an XP machine. That worked fine except for the dreadful latency in the output. I think honestly more support and advice needs to be given to prospective users regarding drivers / sound cards etc. I mean with the default settings there was a 50ms second latency on the output and it is totally impossible to play anything meaningful with that kind of latency. Nice one. This program was very good and useful because I use my guitar a lot and I don't have an amplifier.
